After some rest, spend the afternoon photographing birds around the Kitulgala village.

Day 02. Kitulgala.
Spend the full day photographing in Kelani Valley Forest Reserve and the Kitulgala village.

Spend the full day photographing in Kelani Valley Forest Reserve and the Kitulgala village.

Day 04. Kitulgala - Sinharaja
After breakfast, spend a couple of hours birding in the area and leave for Sinharaja Rainforest (a UNESCO World Heritage Wilderness Area) driving via Ratnapura. Lunch stop – Ratnaloka Tour Inns
Spend the afternoon bird watching around the lodge which is located at the edge of the rainforest.

Day 05. Sinharaja
Full day photographing birds in Sinharaja Rainforest with picnic lunch, Sri Lanka’s last remaining rainforest and home to most of the islands endemic birdlife.

Day 06. Sinharaja
Full day photographing birds at Sinharaja Rainforest with picnic lunch, Sri Lanka’s last remaining rainforest and home to most of the islands endemic birdlife.

Day 07. Sinharaja – Udawalawe
After breakfast, spend a couple of hours photographing birds in the area and leave for Udawalawe and take an afternoon Jeep Safari in the Udawalawe National Park
Dinner & overnight in Uda Walawe.

Day 08. Udawalawe - Tissamaharama
Leave after an early breakfast for a second jeep safari of Udawalawe National Park.
Proceed to Tissamaharama with packed lunch and spend the afternoon photographing birds around the wetlands of Tissa.
Dinner & overnight in Tissa.

Day 09. Tissa.
Spend the full day in Yala National Park.
Dinner & overnight in Tissa.

Day 10. Tissa.
Leave after an early breakfast for a morning jeep safari of Bundala National Park, a Ramsar Site.
After the park spend the rest of the day exploring the wetlands and the scrub forests in the area.

Day 11. Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya, climbing up in to the central highlands, birding enroute.
Lunch on the way.
In the afternoon explore Victoria Park in Nuwara Eliya for birds.

Day 12. Nuwara Eliya
Leave very early in the morning with a packed breakfast & lunch for the Horton Plains for a morning of great birding and spend the day exploring the area between Horton Plains and Nuwara Eliya

Day 13. Nuwara Eliya
Full day in Nuwara Eliya and surrounding area (Hakgala & Bomuru Ella).

Day 14. Nuwara Eliya – Sigiriya
Leave after an early breakfast for a last opportunity for photographing birds around Nuwara Eliya and proceed to Sigiriya.
After lunch at the hotel explore Sigiriya Sanctuary and surrounding area.
Dinner & overnight in Sigiriya.
